KayanJet’s Uday Nayak Makes Donation

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of St. Kitts and Nevis received a substantial donation of fifteen laptop computers from Mr. Uday Nayak, founder of KayanJet and Special Envoy for Economic Development. This generous contribution stemmed from a commitment Mr. Nayak made to His Excellency Dr. Kevin Isaac, St. Kitts and Nevis’ High Commissioner to the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland, preceding the April Diplomatic Week activities. The donation significantly bolstered the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to support educational and sporting institutions within the Federation, reflecting a shared vision for advancing sustainable development through enhanced technological access.

This donation represents a collaborative effort initiated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Permanent Secretary Kaye Bass, recognizing the potential impact of Diplomatic Week, challenged the Federation’s Ambassadors and High Commissioners to identify and address the needs of local academic institutions. High Commissioner Isaac, embracing this challenge, secured an initial donation of six computers from a separate source in May.
