27th Nevis Agricultural Exposition Commences This Week
The 27th annual Nevis Agri Expo is scheduled to take place this Thursday and Friday, March 27th and 28th, 2025, at the Elquemedo T. Willet Park in Charlestown, Nevis. This year’s theme, “A New Era, Leveraging Technology for a Sustainable and Inclusive Agriculture,” highlights the event’s focus on modernizing agricultural practices and promoting inclusivity within the sector. The Expo will be open to the public from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday and 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Friday, offering attendees ample time to explore the diverse exhibits and engage with local agriculturalists.
A formal opening ceremony is planned for Thursday morning commencing at 9:30 a.m., featuring various presentations culminating in the official declaration of the Expo’s opening by the Minister of Agriculture, Hon. Eric Evelyn. The ceremony will be broadcast live by VON Radio 860AM and streamed online at www.vonradio.com, ensuring widespread access for those unable to attend in person.
