The Sixty-ninth Session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW69), a pivotal platform for advancing gender equality and women’s empowerment, convened at the UN Headquarters in New York City from March 10-21, 2025. Among the distinguished participants was the Honourable Senator Isalean Phillip, Minister with responsibility for Social Development and Gender Affairs; Youth Empowerment, Ageing and Disabilities of St. Kitts and Nevis. Minister Phillip served as the ministerial representative of the Group of Latin American and Caribbean States (GRULAC) during a cross-regional Ministerial Roundtable held on March 12th.
