JLPS Annual Road Relays

This highly anticipated event, a cornerstone of the school’s athletic calendar, saw students from Kindergarten to Grade 6, brimming with enthusiasm and competitive spirit, take to the streets of Rawlins Village in a display of speed, teamwork, and sportsmanship. The meticulously planned route commenced near the Gingerland Police Station, weaving its way through the familiar landscape of the village, offering spectators ample opportunities to cheer on their favorite runners. The race culminated in a thrilling sprint to the finish line back at the school grounds, where the air crackled with anticipation as the final runners approached.
The road relays were organized into four distinct categories, ensuring fair competition and allowing athletes of similar ages to compete against one another. The categories included Grades 3 to 6 for both girls and boys, and Kindergarten to Grade 2, also separated by gender.
