These figures were strategically positioned against a breathtaking backdrop photograph of Nevis Peak, the island’s majestic volcanic summit. The official switch-on ceremony for the “Vibrant Folklore” lantern took place on Wednesday, February 12th, marking a significant moment of intercultural celebration. Ambassador Donya L. Francis, representing Saint Kitts and Nevis in Taiwan, highlighted the profound importance of showcasing their folklore through this unique medium. She emphasized the exceptional talent and captivating performances of Kittitian and Nevisian students, particularly in the realms of masquerade and clown traditions.
