Queen City Nevis Lions Club Reactivation

The event, which included a celebratory lunch, was presided over by District Governor Lion Allan Alexander PMJF, who travelled from Antigua specifically for the occasion. His presence, alongside Cabinet Secretary/Treasurer Lion Leandra Lewis MJF and Region Chair Lion Franklin Maynard MJF, underscored the importance of this reactivation within the larger Lions Clubs International framework. The ceremony also included the installation of the new board members for the Queen City Nevis Lions Club, solidifying the leadership structure that will guide the club’s future endeavours.

The event was further enriched by the participation of members from the St. Kitts (Basseterre) Lions Club, demonstrating inter-island collaboration and support. Their presence coincided with the fourth and final Cabinet meeting for the Lionistic year, followed by an awards ceremony recognizing achievements from the previous year. To further support the newly inducted members and leadership, Lion Leandra Lewis, MJF, and Lion Novelette Benjamin were appointed as Guiding Lions. Prior to the ceremony, the visiting Lions leadership demonstrated their commitment to community engagement by paying a courtesy call to Premier of Nevis, the Hon. Mark Brantley.
