St. John’s/Concord Inter-Church Kite Flying Competition Scheduled for Good Friday

The St. John’s Community Improvement Club (SJCIC) is set to paint the skies with vibrant hues and soaring creativity with its annual Kite Flying Competition. Scheduled for Good Friday, April 18, 2025, at The Flats, Cole Hill, the event promises a day of exhilarating aerial displays and friendly competition. Prior to the main event, registration for the various kite categories will open at 11 AM, giving kite enthusiasts the opportunity to showcase their creations and compete for coveted titles. A nominal registration fee of $5.00 will be applicable for each kite entered into the competition. Vendors seeking to add to the festive ambiance and offer refreshments and other goods are also welcome to participate, with a vendor fee of $50.00.
