The Nevis division launched the festivities with a successful Breakfast Sale at the Charlestown Fire Station. Nevis’ Divisional Fire Officer, Mavis Archibald, expressed her satisfaction with the event’s turnout and highlighted the community’s support for the SKNFRS. Ms. Archibald also outlined a calendar of events planned for April, promising further engagement and celebration throughout the anniversary month. These activities aimed to foster closer ties between the fire service and the community it serves, emphasizing the shared responsibility for fire safety and prevention.
In St. Kitts, the celebrations received a boost with a generous financial contribution from the Police Co-Operative Credit Union Limited (PCCU). During a visit to the Sandy Point division, PCCU Marketing Officer Tarique Hercules presented a cheque to the SKNFRS, underscoring the credit union’s recognition of the fire service’s critical role in safeguarding the Federation. Chief Fire Officer Rommel Williams expressed his sincere gratitude for the donation and emphasized the importance of collaborative partnerships in supporting the SKNFRS’s mission. He looked forward to continued collaboration between the two organizations.
