UWI-St. Kitts and Nevis Guild Executive Hosts Honour Roll and Handover Ceremony
The University of the West Indies (UWI) Global Campus Guild Executive, St. Kitts and Nevis Chapter, orchestrated a momentous ceremony on Saturday, May 24th, 2025, to celebrate the academic excellence of sixty-four students who achieved the distinguished Honour Roll status for Semester 1 of the 2024-2025 academic year. This accomplishment signifies not only individual dedication and hard work but also the unwavering commitment of the UWI Global Campus to fostering a thriving learning environment that nurtures intellectual growth and achievement. The Honour Roll recipients, comprised of thirty-four students from St. Kitts and thirty from Nevis, demonstrated exceptional scholastic aptitude by attaining a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.6 or higher. This remarkable achievement underscores the caliber of students within the UWI Global Campus community and highlights the institution’s success in providing a high-quality education that prepares students for future success. A poignant moment during the ceremony was the posthumous recognition of Honour Roll awardee Chiclanker Ramsey, whose life was tragically cut short. Her family, including her two daughters, mother, and fiancé, were present to receive her certificate and token, a testament to her dedication and the lasting impact she made on those around her.
