Saint Lucia Implements Electronic Land Registry for Enhanced Efficiency

The Government of Saint Lucia is embarking on a significant modernization initiative, aiming to transform its land administration system through the development of an e-Land Registry. This digital transformation, spearheaded by the Department of Public Service through the Caribbean Digital Transformation Project (CARDTP), in collaboration with the Department of Physical Development, is poised to revolutionize land transactions in the country, ushering in an era of enhanced efficiency, transparency, and accessibility. This consultation brought together representatives from RMSI Private Limited, an Indian consulting firm serving as the lead consultant; Datashore, a Saint Lucian sub-consultant; the CARDTP Project Manager; and officials from the Department of Physical Development, underscoring the collaborative nature of the initiative. The consultation served as a platform to discuss critical aspects of the project, including technical requirements, implementation strategies, and capacity-building initiatives.
