The Barbados Ministry of Tourism has embarked on a pioneering initiative to integrate tourism education into the primary school curriculum, targeting children aged 7 to 10. Christened the “All About Tourism Schools’ Awareness Programme,” this ambitious endeavor seeks to instill an early understanding of the vital role tourism plays in the Barbadian economy and its cultural landscape.
